Fitness for Health
Greetings to all who visit my blog. On this occasion I wish to share what I have been asked by the principal, Mrs. Mary Mendez during recess or lunch of the students. I clarify in our school there is no intramural program. Students have half an hour to play in the yard, and another half hour for lunch in their classrooms.
Last year, during the recess break, I helped in the supervision of students in the yard. In this new school year my Principal, Mrs. Mary Mendez asked me if I could perform activities that promote physical efficiency with students. With this in mind I designed and started with the program. I have called the "Fitness for Health". During these two weeks the students participants began with the "Jumping Jacks" challenge. The objective was that students accumulate more than 100 "J.J" in three rounds daily of 30 seconds each to win a particular prize. The award consisted of a few tokens that symbolize physical efficiency.
One aspect that struck me was that most of the participants were girls and all students have a implacable discipline.Thank you all for supporting this blog.

He llamado el programa “ Fitness for Health”.

Small things make a huge difference

During December19, 2014 the Washington County district brought to our school 25 bikes. Due the popular demand the school decided to develop a contest with their students. Students brought to the office a poem regarding why a bike was important to them. The school staff review the poems and select the best 25.
